SHORT, COMICAL STORIES FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES!

I learned to create websites by making these fun sites from stories and images in the public domain. The artwork in most of the stories is superb. The Quarantine of Alexander Abraham by Lucy Maude Montgomery is quite appropriate for our times, and is a very comical entertaining read.

All of the stories have been edited and reworked from the originals found at Project Gutenberg.org.

ENJOY!

THE QUARANTINE OF ALEXANDER ABRAHAM

Author: Lucy Maude Montgomery, 1918
(~15 minute read. No illustrations.)

This short story was written about the Spanish Flu Pandemic in 1918, about one hundred years before our current, global and on-going Covid Pandemic that began circa Feb/March 2018 and continues in well into 2022, when this story was posted.

It is an endearing and comical story and very appropriate for our times. (I see a lot of myself in ‘Peter.’)
