HOLY SPIRIT

,

We live in exciting times. We also live in times of information overload. We have opportunities and choices during these times that were not available to previous generations.

One opportunity that I appreciate is the opportunity to listen and learn from others who now have the opportunity to publish their work online and who make those works available to all who are interested in what they have to say.

I find the teachings of David Pawson easy to understand. He speaks in a manner that I find easy to listen to, yet extensive in content.

That is why you will find so many links to his articles on my webstite.

I especially appreciate his teaching on the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is perhaps the most misunderstood person of the Trinity, yet it is though His living presence born-again believers that God’s word is opened to us both in our hearts and minds.

Here is a link to a series of talks on the Holy Spirit, by David Pawson. (The link is to audio files, most of which are over an hour long.)

DAVID PAWSON: THE HOLY SPIRIT
(Series of 20 One Hour Talks)

These talks are lively, informative, challenging; at times humorous, and always spirit led.

The last talk, Part 20, is a joyful summary (and more) of all that was covered in the previous talks. The preliminaries to the message are followed by a powerful, sometimes amusing yet amazing message.

PART 20, THE HOLY SPIRIT IN HISTORY.

This next link is to a short booklet that David Pawson has written about what the Bible teaches about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. You can watch online or download a free MP3 video onto your own device if that is your preference.

WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT THE HOLY SPRIT

I hope you will be challenged, as I have been, by the extraordinary content of each of the messages in this series.

David Pawson is now with his Lord. Those in care of his estate and website have provided a wonderful selection of various teaching downloads free of charge.

DAVID PAWSON 1930 – 2020

As quoted from one of his websites: “David is considered to be one of the world’s finest biblical expositors. Translations of David’s teachings continue to grow with extensive projects currently focused in countries including Brazil, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, China and Indonesia, just to name a few.

David was passionate about teaching the Bible and believed every teacher has a responsibility to expound the truth and expose error. He encourages everyone to read the Bible for themselves, not verse by verse but to read each verse in the context in which they were written. Too many people misquote Bible verses by taking them out of context. David teaches that a ‘text out of context becomes a pretext’ to a whole new and wrong meaning to that for which the verse was written.”

Thank you David Pawson and to all those who manage his estate and legacy to both seekers and believers from all over the world!
