Jesus Died for Us

.
The Bible clearly states that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.

Except Jesus!

That is an amazing claim. An even more amazing claim is that that God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for the sins of all mankind. The Bible clearly states that whoever believes in Jesus should not perish but have eternal life.

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit” (1 Peter 3:18, ESV).

1 Peter 3:18, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:21

Romans 6:23 states that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This verse highlights the consequences of sin and the grace offered through faith in Christ.

For the sake of every person who has been born since the foundation of the world, God made Jesus to be sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Peter 2:24 (ESV) states, “Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds we have been healed.”.

Jesus, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

We see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honour because of the suffering of death.

The Bile States: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 8:1 ESV

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who have come to Jesus and given their life to Him.

1 John 4:10 states: This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, Satan.

Jesus is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature. He upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High’

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (Romans 8:28)

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
